Hello I am in need of your help with my puppy as he is act out a little

Hi! I was referred to you via a colleague. I am in search of dog behaviorist therapy for one of my dogs, Ozzy. He is a 22 pound mix breed. My wife and I adopted him from someone who was ill and needed to rehome him. He had a history of aggression towards a German Shephard in the home. Flash forward 2 years, he has had random instances of aggression, particularly with food droppings with our other dog. He is also reactive when being stepped on (he stands right under you and has long hair), and seems possessive of me towards me and reacts every so often towards our other dog and my wife. The instances seem rare and random. The unpredictability of it makes it scary, especially when we have a 1 year old toddler in the house who is always separated from Ozzy, for obvious reasons. In food related instances he has bit our other dog. For the safety of myself and the rest of my family, I am reaching out for help. Majority of the time, you'd think nothing is wrong but the instances of aggression, especially with an increasingly moving kid, raises concern. I hope to hear back and taking time to speak with you.
