After graduating with a B.A. in Animal Behavior from Manhattanville College, I moved to California in hopes of working with marine mammals. Circumstances brought me to Vermont where I became a Veterinary Technician and Second Chance Animal Center worker. When I found myself spending significant time advising people on behavioral issues - I became a trainer. Completing the PetSmart Trainers Program allowed me to work with PetSmart for 5 years, before beginning my own training company. I became a nationally certified trainer (CCPDT) after a few years. This organization requires continuing education to enable professionals keep up on current methods and information.
